Your role & work environment:
The Financial Markets Quants team, specialized in Derivative products, covering a wide range of asset classes (Interest Rates, Equities, FX, Commodities, Credit) supports businesses in Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Singapore (Asia hub) and New York.
In this context, we look for a JAVA DEVELOPER to develop, maintain and secure the Java code of our internally developed platform for Pricing and Risk Management.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as a JAVA DEVELOPER are :

Develop

  • New functionalities for Financial Markets Traders to integrate in the current Java Swing

client

  • Real-time pricing functions to support Trading desks
  • Implement pricing library functions (database, GUI, Web services, …)

Maintain

  • Maintain the key components of the Java code
  • Enhance the testing process
  • Provide L3 support to Trading and Sales

Secure

  • Keep a proactive eye on new technologies, performance and security aspects

Qualifications

As a JAVA DEVELOPER you will also need:

  • Bachelor degree with strong programming experience in Java
  • Technical expertise in Java development, SQL server / Oracle, Java Swing
  • Knowledge of Financial products
  • Soft skills: Fast learner, Flexible, Team player, Stress resistant
