Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure components using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure infrastructure requirements are captured and translated into scalable and maintainable IaC.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and configuration.
- Integrate deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps services, ensuring efficient and reliable release processes.
- Azure Services Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, and more.
- Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of Azure infrastructure components.
- Scripting and Automation:
- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate routine tasks and streamline deployment processes.
- Implement monitoring and alerting to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide infrastructure support.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management regarding project progress and technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Have a background as an infrastructure architect/engineer, network specialist or Linux/Wintel engineer or something like that and who then started working with Azure and started designing and building infrastructure as a code (via Azure DevOps, ARM, Biceps, Terraform, etc.) .
- Be willing to work in a DevOps team, the emphasis will be on change / new construction, but there will also be production support on a regular basis
- Be willing to work on location in Zaandam 1 or 2 days a week
